TERMS OF SERVICE(*TOS)


Virtual Webhosts is dedicated to providing a quality service for our end users. Please read through these rules and terms of service to ensure maximum efficiency in your hosting service.


Site Rules


  1. Sites with ILLEGAL CONTENT, in any form, are expressly forbidden and will be removed immediately. Virtual-Webhosts reserves the right to turn over any information requested by the proper authorities as required under United States law.

  2. Sites containing pornography are expressly forbidden. Any client with offending content will be asked to remove it immediately or face a discontinuation in service.

  3. Alcohol, Tobacco and/or Firearms are not permitted to be sold or distributed on any website being hosted by our company. Any client with offending content will be asked to remove it immediately or face a discontinuation in service.

  4. The administrators of this company reserve the right to ask the client to modify any content on their site as needed and as is appropriate.


Payment


  1. All payments are due on the first day of the month. Any service contract set up prior to or on the 15th day of the month will be assessed a full months charge. Any service contract set up on or after the 16th day of the month will be assessed exactly half of the monthly charges normally due.

  2. First three months do upon registration. Dollar amount is in US currency. All Canadian residents please add an additional $1.50 per month.

  3. At this time, this site is only setup to accept payments through PayPal.

  4. All payments required must be payed prior to the site activation. Site content may be uploaded at any time, however, site will not be activated until all account balances have been taken care of.

  5. Any account balance that has not been payed by the 5th day of the month may be assessed a late penalty, unless prior arrangements have been made with the administrators of this site. A penalty fee of 10% (.10) of the account balance may be added to the balance for any account that is post due.

  6. Any account balance that falls into default for more then 15 days past the the due date will be deactivated from public use until all account charges and penalties have been take care of, unless prior arrangements have been made with the administrators of this site.

  7. Any account that is more then 30 days past due will be terminated immediately, unless prior arrangements have been made with the administrators of this site.

  8. Site administrators may not be held accountable for any site information associated with an account that is terminated. As contract is considered forfeit on terminated accounts, so is the content of that site.


Domains


  1. All sites may use one of two methods for their site domain. Standard domain names are acceptable. If the client would prefer, Virtual-Webhosts may provide a sub-domain name that may also be used.

  2. Domain names may be purchased through this site. All domain names purchased through this company will remain the property of this company while the service contract is in effect. However, in the event of a contract termination, ownership of the domain name will revert to the client if they so choose to have it. All domain names associated with contracts that are no longer being enforced will be allowed to relapse.

  3. All applicable fees for domain name purchase and maintenance purchased through this company will be assessed to the clients account as they become due. This company will give the client a 30 day notice prior to the renewal of the domain name.

  4. Sub-domain names are not subject to yearly renewal fees.

  5. All domains purchased through this site will be hosted via a DNS hosting service. Domains purchased by the client will remain the client's responsibility in regards to DNS hosting. Client will be provided with an IP address to point their DNS service to.


Site Access


  1. All sites shall have FTP access to upload content into the site. Any special CGI scripts must be submitted via email to the site administrator. Those scripts will then be added to the secured CGI script section of the server. At this time, this site is set up to host pages with HTML, PHP and ASP content. SQL service is available. Client must contact the site administrator with the desired database name. All database work on the sites side will normally be completed within 48 hours of the clients request.


Termination of Service


  1. All termination of contracts must be remitted to the site administrator via email. Any contract canceled after the 5th day of the month shall be forfeit any fees payed for that month. Fees payed prior to or on the 5th day of the month shall be subject to refund minus a $5 dollar refund charge. Any contract termination request received prior to the end of the previously payed month will not be subject to any termination or refund charges. Site content must be removed within 1 week of contract termination. Information remaining after that period of time may be subject to purge in order to make room for other clients.

  2. Any contract that is left in default shall be considered terminated and all content will be removed. Clients who have defaulted contracts that have been terminated by the site administrator will not be permitted to purchase a new contract through this site.


Problems with Service


  1. This site strives to provide you and your patrons with the best possible service available. Any problems regarding the site, your service or your contract must be submitted to our support department. An email form has been provided on the front end of our website to accommodate your needs.
